I'm just wondering what you were expecting from an OS installation - it's got a fairly large footprint, dontchyaknow? (I watched my dad install Red Hat once - at least, I think it was. It took a bloody long time about it, enough to have dinner and a nap, hypothetically speaking. Then again, the plural of anecdote is not data.)
